Cushion CoverTraditional Textiles
These two pillow are unlikely to be found again – they are made from handspun cotton from an Adonnara woman’s sarong and the patterning is tradition. The colours of indigo and Morinda red with tannins are so wonderfully rich. The front and back panels are identical. They will last a long time as the dyes are excellent and hand spinning and weaving very tight.
There are 2 pillows in this series that are identical– we can send the pillow without the Dacron stuffing and all you need is to get new Dacron and refill it. This makes shipping much less expensive.
Woven and dyed by Mari Paji in Adonara, 2019.
